I’m not fond of PETA, they are weird at best, and here’s another reason why:
They have offered a million dollar prize to someone who can produce genetically engineered meat. Don’t they realize this is still pouring resources into animal products?!? I understand the idea is to reduce the factory farms and hazardous chemical waste, and inhumane conditions, and I guess they are trying to make a methadone for meat eaters.
True the lay people will shovel the cheapest stuff out there into their gullets via happy meal, but they are going to trust a cattle company to do it not some hippy-dippy tree huggers, damnit! And I should know I’m from Texas.
